- Mauna Loa, which last erupted in 1984 and is the world’s largest shield volcano in terms of both volume and area. It’s often referred to as a drive-in volcano due to its huge size.
- Kilauea, which last erupted in 2018 and is considered to be one of the most active volcanoes on the planet.
