What voids an Audi warranty?
I’m thinking about doing some aftermarket mods to my new Audi, but my friend told me that it will probably void my warranty. Is this true? What voids and Audi warranty?

Car warranties can really come in handy, but they do require the owner to uphold their end of the bargain.
Some common things that will void an Audi warranty are:
- Misuse of the vehicle Racing or taking a car off-road that’s not equipped for it will void a warranty
- Improper maintenance Failure to perform (and document) the recommended maintenance can often cause a warranty to not be honored
- Aftermarket modifications Using aftermarket mods like performance tuning or suspension kits generally will result in a voided warranty
So unless you really want those aftermarket mods, it’s probably best to skip them—at least until your warranty expires. Sorry!
