What type of oil should I use for a 2007 Honda Civic?

My sturdy old [Honda Civic](https://getjerry.com/car-insurance/honda-civic-base-insurance-cost) is due for an oil change, and I’d like to start doing it myself. I’ve heard a few different recommendations as far as what kind of oil to use—can you tell me what the oil type is of a 2007 Honda Civic?
