What type of oil does the Audi Q7 use?

Audi Q7s with gasoline engines use oil with a viscosity of SAE 5W-40, 5W-30, or an alternate viscosity grade as outlined in your manual. For Diesel engines, use oil with an SAE 5W-30 rating.
Here are some other materials you’ll need to successfully perform an oil change:
- Rags or cloths to wipe up any spills
- Tools, including a wrench set and mallet
- Safety glasses
- Oil filter gasket
- A container to drain the old oil into
- Funnel
- Oil pan
