What type of oil does the 2004 Jeep Wrangler take?

Do I need a specific type of oil for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler? My brother said he would change the oil for me if I bought the oil first, and I’m not sure what to get.

That’s very nice of your brother! The 2004
Jeep Wrangler
needs five quarts of fully synthetic 5W-30 grade oil, so you might need to buy a couple of containers in order to do an oil change.
It’s really important that you get the correct oil grade for your Wrangler, as using the wrong type of oil in your car can damage your engine. If you have any questions about the type of oil you’re buying, it’s better to ask! Your brother will probably be able to help you, and a store employee can offer help as well.
