What type of oil does the 2002 Toyota Avalon take?

Since my car is older, I want to keep a container of motor oil in it just in case the oil level starts to get low. But before I do, I want to be sure I get the right kind. Can you please tell me what kind of oil a 2002 Toyota Avalon takes?

The 2002
Toyota Avalon
takes Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil.
There are other brands you could use besides Mobil 1, but using the Extended Performance 5W-30 is best for older model vehicles which typically have 75,000 miles or more on the odometer.
You should also use full synthetic oil in your
Toyota
. Not only is it better quality than conventional oil, but it can also prolong the life of your car. If you use synthetic oil, you could go 7,500 miles before you need another oil change. Conventional oil must be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
Regular oil changes will help keep your Avalon in working order, but in order to protect it against unforeseen events, you’ll need the right
car insurance
