What type of insurance coverage is available for an ATV?

What type of insurance should I have for an ATV? I am thinking about buying one and I hope to make the ATV payments and insurance fit into my budget. I need to have the insurance rate as low as possible.

“It’s smart to plan ahead! Since you are financing the ATV, you need full coverage, similar to when you finance or refinance a car. But don’t worry, ATV policies are much less expensive than auto policies.
The coverage the finance company is concerned with is
comprehensive coverage
and collision coverage. If your ATV was stolen or totaled in an accident, you would be able to use the payment from this coverage to pay off the bank loan balance, hopefully.
Comprehensive and
collision
coverages have deductible options, with the most common for an ATV priced at $500. A deductible is the amount you would pay to have the ATV repaired before your insurance company will pay the rest.
If you already own a car and you want to add ATV insurance to your car insurance policy, you may find that your current insurance company is a good place to start looking for quotes. It’s still worth comparing prices with other companies to ensure you’re getting the best rate. Try using the
