Charger: the standard 292-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine or one of three upgraded Hemi V8 engines. The Charger’s standard V6 engine is teamed with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and can get up to 30 mpg on the highway for a starting MSRP of just $34,095. For a slight boost, upgrade to the SXT all-wheel-drive or the GT trim levels to add eight horses and get up to 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque.
Higher trim levels offer mighty and melodic V8 engines for car enthusiasts who love feeling real power beneath the gas pedal. The Charger R/T comes standard with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine that gets up to 25 mpg on the highway backed by 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque.
Upgrade to the Scat Pack or Scat Pack Body—with a starting MSRP of $47,820—for yet a more powerful engine. The 392 Hemi V8 engine delivers naturally-aspirated 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, which will get you from 0 to 60 mph in just over 4 seconds.
The most powerful and impressive engine is only available in the Hellcat trim, which includes a thrilling supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi high-output SRT V8 engine. Your Charger will exert an overwhelming 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to reach the highest top speed of any four-door mass-produced car.
