What soap should I use on my car?
I just bought a used car and it’s in good condition, but it really needs to be washed. This is my first car, so I don’t know what supplies are best. What’s the best soap to use on my car?

Good question, and congratulations on purchasing your first car! When it comes to cleaning your vehicle, it’s always best to use a soap specifically made for washing cars, as they don’t include chemicals or harsh ingredients that can damage your vehicle.
As of 2022, Meguiar’s G17701 Ultimate Wash & Wax is the highest-rated car wash soap on Amazon with 4.8 stars, priced at approximately $35 for a one-gallon jug.
This is followed closely by the Chemical Guys CWS_402 Mr. Pink Foaming Car Wash Soap, which boasts a 4.7-star rating and will cost you approximately $25 for one gallon.
If you want to go with something less pricey, but still highly rated, try Mothers 05632 California Gold Car Wash soap, available on Amazon for less than $10.
