rims, there are four numbers you’ll need to know:- Wheel/rim width: typically in inches
- Wheel/rim diameter: typically in inches
- Bolt pattern: number of bolts; bolt hole diameter typically in millimeters
- Wheel offset: typically in millimeters
You should be able to find each of these dimensions stamped on the back of your rim.
When it comes to the bolt reading, the first number listed represents the number of bolt holes in the wheel. The second represents the diameter of those bolt holes, usually in millimeters.
As an example, let’s say you found the marking and it read like this:
7J x 17 5/105 ET41
This would mean you’re looking for a rim that’s 7 inches wide by 17 inches in diameter. You’d have five bolts with bolt holes 105 millimeters in diameter. Finally, your wheel offset would be 41 millimeters.
