rims sizes vary based on their model year. Anything manufactured in 2009 or after will have a 17 inch diameter rim, while anything dated 2008 or earlier could have 15, 16, or 17 inch diameter rims. Because you didn’t mention the model year of your uncle’s car, we can’t tell you exactly what size the rims are. Generally, though, they follow these sizing norms:
- 1992: 15 inches
- 1993 to 1997: 15 or 16 inches
- 1998 to 2000: 16 inches
- 2001 to 2008: 16 or 17 inches
- 2009 onwards: 17 inches
