! Slippery roads are just part of living there, so to successfully navigate them, follow these tips:- Drive slowly.
- Avoid using cruise control.
- Use your headlights, high beams, and fog lights to your advantage.
- Don’t slam the brakes if you lose traction.
- Keep a five-second distance between you and other drivers.
- Make sure that your tires have the proper pressure.
- Keep your traction control on at all times.
