What should I put on my road trip packing list?
Aside from luggage and food, I'm wondering what else I should bring on my first solo road trip. What's a good idea to put on the packing list?

“If it’s your first road trip, you should think about things to have in case of an emergency.
They are:
- Towing and labor coverageor roadside assistance for your car in case you break down
- Jump-start cables
- Blankets and extra clothes
- Non-perishable food items
- Flares
- Extra cell phone battery
Now that you have that stuff out of the way, other things might make your ride a bit more comfortable. Consider getting these:
- Travel mug
- Travel pillows, which are ideal for a quick nap at a rest stop
- A holder or mount for your cell phone
- Sunglasses
- Reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
- Hand sanitizer for those suspect gas station bathrooms
Put all of this together and you have the formula for one awesome road trip!
