What should I do if I haven't renewed my driving license?

I just noticed that my driving license is set to expire in a few months. However, the restrictions on my provisional license will be removed because I’m turning 18. What do I do if I haven’t renewed my driver’s license yet?

Getting rid of your
provisional license
for an unrestricted license is exciting! So if you want to know what to do if you haven’t renewed your driving license and the expiration is coming up, go to the DMV.
In most cases, you’ll need a new license anyway to reflect the removal of restrictions. While your state may allow you to renew your license online, going to the DMV is the most direct route. Once you fill out the necessary paperwork, you should get your license in the mail in four to six weeks. If you’re lucky, your local DMV may have a printer to make you a new license on the spot. Cross your fingers!
Speaking of renewals, do you know when your next car insurance renewal is? If not, look at the expiration date on your car insurance policy. About a month before it ends, you can check out your new quote. But if you want to save some money by shopping around,
