What should I do if a tow truck caused damage to my Chevy Malibu?

"My Malibu broke down so I called for a tow. When I got to the repair shop, I noticed some damage to the car door.

What should I do now?"

“You should first write to the company to ask for compensation. If they refuse, you may be able to file a claim with your car insurance, but that’s dependent on your policy and the type of coverage you have.
If neither option works, you may have to contact an attorney and seek damages, although many companies will settle beforehand due to the associated costs of a court battle.”
