What should I add to my moving to Illinois checklist?

I’m moving to a new state in a few months. I’ve moved around to a couple of different cities, but I’ve never moved to a whole new state before. What should I add to my moving to Illinois checklist?

  • Arrange to

  • Let important contacts know you’re moving—like your employer, your landlord, and your utility provider(s)
  • Update your driver’s license and car registration
  • Set up mail forwarding with USPS
  • Update your current

     to an

  • Change your current renters or
    homeowners insurance
