oil type is either 0W-20 or 5W-30. Here’s how it breaks down:: - Use SAE 0W-20 genuine oil for the SKYACTIV-G 2.0L engine, the MZR 2.0L engine, and the MZR 2.5L engine
- Use SAE 5W-30 engine oil for the MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo engine
The oil capacity for each engine type differs, as well:
- The SKYACTIV-G and MZR 2.0L engines both take 4.5 quarts or 4.2 liters of oil
- The MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo engine takes 6 quarts or 5.7 liters of oil
- The MZR 2.5L engine takes 5.3 quarts or 5.0 liters of oil
