What national parks are in Oregon?

Which national parks can I go to in my new home state? I just moved to Oregon, and I want to explore some of the hiking in my area, but I don’t really have a concept of how close the national parks are yet.

Congrats on your recent move! As of 2022, there are six national parks located in the state of
Oregon
:
  • Crater Lake National Park
  • Fort Vancouver National Historic Site
  • John Day Fossil Beds National Monument
  • Lewis and Clark National Historical Park
  • Nez Perce National Historical Park
  • Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve
After you’ve explored all of these parks, you can move on to state parks in Oregon. It’ll take you a while to get through all of them, considering that Oregon is home to 361 state parks in total, so you’ll be able to hike all over the state before you need to start looking over the Oregon border!
