What national parks are in Ohio?

I live in Cincinnati. The only national park I’ve been to is Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky, but I was wondering if there was another one in my area. What national parks are found in Ohio?

If you want to visit a national park in
Ohio
, you’re in luck. Ohio is home to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which is conveniently located between
Cleveland
and
Akron
.
To get to Cuyahoga National Park from
Cincinnati
, take I-71 East to I-271 North. You can make this trip in only about 3.5 hours, as it’s only about 235 miles.
Once you arrive at the park, you have plenty of entertainment options, including:
  • Hike the famous Ledges Trail
  • See the famous Brandywine Falls
  • Stop by the Boston Mill Visitor Center for maps, souvenirs, and information from park rangers
  • Take a ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
  • Visit the Canal Exploration Center to learn about the people who built canals between 1825 and 1876
