What model of Jeep SUV is the safest?
My partner and I are longtime Jeep fans, and we recently found out that we’re going to be expecting our first kid soon! We want to keep a Jeep in the family for sure, but we also know that all SUVs aren’t created equal when it comes to safety. What’s the safest Jeep SUV?

Congratulations on the upcoming addition! The good news is that there is indeed a Jeep that’s safe enough for precious cargo. Currently, the 2022 Jeep Compass is the safest Jeep SUV.
The 2022 Compass is the only model in Jeep’s lineup to earn the distinction of Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS). The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Compass a solid four stars out of five for an overall rating.
Just because an SUV is big doesn’t necessarily mean it’s safe, so you’re wise to do your research! Crash test ratings for the 2023 models aren’t available yet, so the title of “safest Jeep” may change with the new year. But for now, the Jeep Compass is the safest Jeep SUV you can get.
