Great question! The best oil for a Nissan Frontier is 5W-30.
There’s one counterargument: If your Frontier has more than 75,000 miles, you might want to consider switching to a high-mileage oil.
If your truck has not had any problems, then you’re probably good to continue with the oil you’ve been using. If there’s any doubt, just consult your owner’s manual or look up the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Switching oil types is a tricky process. If you do decide to switch to a high-mileage oil type, make sure to get a complete flush and oil change first. Your Nissan Frontier will thank you!
