What kind of gas does an Acura MDX take?
I just bought a 2022 Acura MDX. Without thinking about it, I almost filled up with E85, but my girlfriend stopped me saying my car wouldn’t take it. What kind of gas does an Acura MDX take? Are there other things I should avoid?

Congrats on the new car! Sounds like that was a close call. It’s recommended that the kind of gas your 2022
Acura MDX
uses is premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91. Using unleaded gasoline with an octane rating below 87 could lead to engine damage.Gasoline with MMT additives should be avoided, but Acura supports using gasoline that contains Top Tier detergent gasoline when it’s available.
And, as your girlfriend cautioned, using fuel containing more than 15% ethanol isn’t recommended.
