What is the warranty on a Genesis GV80?
I’m thinking of purchasing a GV80 but am curious about the factory warranty. Is it comprehensive, or will I need to upgrade to an extended warranty?

The
Genesis
factory warranty—which comes with every new Genesis vehicle, including the GV80—is one of the most comprehensive warranties among luxury manufacturers.This 5-year or 60,000-mile Genesis basic warranty covers the repair or replacement of any part manufactured or installed by Hyundai Motor Group, Hyundai Motor Company, or Genesis Motor America. This includes parts and labor to fix defects in material or workmanship, excluding certain listed components. All parts of this warranty are completely transferable.
You’ll also get the limited powertrain warranty, which covers the repair and/or replacement of powertrain components to fix manufacturing defects—excluding certain listed components and vehicles used for commercial purposes. If you are the original owner, the powertrain warranty lasts 10 years or 10,000 miles. If you decide to sell your vehicle during the warranty period, second owners will have coverage for the powertrain components for up to 5 years or 60,000 miles.
You’ll also get an Anti-Perforation Limited Warranty, a Federal Emission Control Warranty, a Replacement Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty, and—if you live in
California
