What is the Toyota basic warranty?

I was looking at new cars, but I’ve had some trouble with buying lemons in the past. I don’t want that to happen again, so the warranty is important to me. What is the basic warranty from Toyota and what does it cover??

The
Toyota
 basic warranty is a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty that applies to all new cars. This will cover all repairs and adjustments that are the direct result of the manufacturer’s defects or workmanship, as well as all recall costs. However, regular maintenance and wear and tear are not covered under this warranty.
In addition to the basic warranty, Toyota also offers a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 5-year,unlimited-mile anti-rust and perforation warranty. Between these three warranties, Toyota is comparable to many of the other automakers in the industry.
