What is the towing capacity for an Acura MDX?

I want to buy an SUV that’s really strong in case I need to tow something. The Acura MDX looks like it has a decent towing capacity. How much can it pull?

If you’re going to get a larger vehicle, make it count! The Acura MDX has a towing capacity of between 3,500 and *5,000 pounds, but the maximum towing weight can only be pulled with an MDX that’s equipped with all-wheel drive.
The towing capacity ranges depending on what drivetrain your MDX has. The lower figure of the weight variance is for a front-wheel-drive configuration. If you’re towing with an MDX that uses all-wheel drive, that number caps out at 5,000 pounds.
Acura owners can also get an MDX tow package that includes a 7-pin harness connector, receiver-style hitch, and a hitch ball. All-wheel-drive models contain this towing package free with the standard model.
