What is the Tesla Model 3 top speed?

I’ve always wanted to buy a Tesla and last week I finally ordered one. It hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m really excited so I’m trying to learn more about it in advance! How fast can my Model 3 go?

The Tesla Model 3 has a top speed of 140 mph. Tesla also claims that the Model 3 has a 0-to-60 speed of 5.3 seconds with its 480 horsepower engine. So, while the Model 3 isn’t a notably fast car, it’s not slow by any means—particularly if you don’t plan to use it for racing!
The fastest Tesla is the Model S Plaid. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in about two seconds and has a top speed of 170 mph. The Model S Plaid is powered by 1,020 hp, so it has a more powerful engine than some other Tesla models.
