What is the source of a 2015 Cadillac Escalade ticking noise?

I recently purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade, and I didn’t notice any issues during the test drive. However, the Escalade has recently started making ticking noises and I don’t know why. Are there any common sources of ticking noises on a 2015 Escalade?

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade isn’t known to have a specific defect, recall, or issue that would create a ticking noise, but GM SUVs as a whole are known to make ticking noises due to loose exhaust manifold bolts. If you can get under the car and tighten the bolts, this may resolve the issue.
If that doesn’t solve the problem, you can check a few other things to see if they’re the culprit:
  • Damaged CV joints
  • Faulty fuel injector
  • Loose spark plugs
  • Low oil pressure
