What is the price difference between RV insurance and car insurance?

"I want to buy a smaller RV and will need insurance on it. I'm wondering what the price difference would be in comparison to my car insurance policy."

“The price of RV insurance will vary. If you’re interested in finding out what the cost may be, you should first reach out to your current car insurance carrier.
If your current carrier offers RV policies, you can call to see what the cost would be to bundle both policies. Most car insurance companies offer a multiple-policy discount when you bundle policies.
If your current carrier doesn’t offer RV policies, there are a variety of carriers who do. Progressive, USAA, and State Farm all offer RV policies.
You can shop around with each carrier and see what coverage would be available. You may be able to find a lower rate by bundling than what you were paying previously.”
