What is the most expensive Ford?

I’m a huge Ford fan and I’m also a person who loves trivial knowledge. I was having a debate with a friend and he told me that the Shelby Mustang was the most expensive Ford, but I don’t think that’s right. What is the most expensive Ford vehicle?

Your friend is right—to a degree. If he’s talking about mass-produced models, the
Ford Mustang Shelby
has a price tag of almost $75,000. But the most expensive Ford produced today is the Ford GT, which starts at $478,750. However, Ford sells only about 150 of these models each year, compared to thousands for the Shelby.
Just in case you’re wondering what a $400,000 supercar offers, here are some of the mind-blowing specs and features of the Ford GT:
  • 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 with 660 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque
  • 0–60 mph in just 3.0 seconds
  • 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with manual shift mode
  • 6.5-inch touch screen with Ford Sync 3 infotainment system
  • Suede-wrapped dashboard
  • Steering wheel that moves as the driver adjusts their seat
While you may not have over $400,000 to drop on a Ford GT, that doesn’t mean you can’t get one step closer to your financial goals by saving money with the
