What is the Mazda3’s oil type?

I’ve got a Mazda3 that I can’t find the owner’s manual for. We need to change the oil, but what kind of engine oil does a Mazda3 take?

A 2022
Mazda3’s
oil type is either 0W-20 or 5W-30, depending on your engine. However, if you have an older Mazda3, your oil type could vary.
Check your Mazda owner’s manual to be sure. If you’ve misplaced it, you can find a copy on Mazda’s website.
For the 2022 Mazda3, here are the engine options and their oil types:
  • Skyactiv-G 2.0: SAE 0W-20
  • Skyactiv-G 2.5: SAE 0W-20
  • Skyactiv-G 2.5T: SAE 5W-30
Mazda recommends changing your engine oil every 8,000 miles for optimal performance. It’s a good idea to make regular oil and filter changes a part of your car maintenance routine.
Another good routine is comparing car insurance policies about twice a year. Looking at
car insurance
may not sound like the most exciting addition to your calendar. But saving lots of money is always nice!
Because car insurance rates fluctuate depending on changing circumstances, experts recommend shopping for car insurance
every six months
