What is the Mazda 6 top speed?
So my mom recently bought a Mazda 6 and I was trying to get her to really push it on our way to gran’s house (I was really hungry and gran’s pork pie is delicious)—what is the Mazda 6’s top speed?

But to answer your question—the Mazda 6’s top speed is 149 miles per hour on the Sport (base) trim.
Here are some things to know about the Mazda 6:
- Engine: The Mazda 6 has been lauded as one of the top sedans in its class, no doubt in part owing to its 2.5 L 4 cylinder engine, which pumps out 187 horsepower on the standard engine. There is an option for a turbocharged engine as well, which bumps up the 6’s horsepower to 250.
- 6-speed automatic transmission: Besides its strong acceleration and peppy engine, the 6 sports a 6-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly from cruising to sport mode or vice versa.
- Handling: Not only is the 6’s ride refined and composed, it handles almost like a sports car, with crisp and responsive handling which will make for quite the ride to gran’s (so long as your mom decides to push it—but under the speed limit, obviously).
- Quiet: Another Mazda hallmark that the 6 ably meets is that it’s a quiet ride. The cabin is both comfortable and well insulated, so you and Mom won’t be bothered by outside noise and can enjoy Bach’s full oeuvre—or that of the Jonas’ Brothers—the way it was supposed to be heard.
