What is the Maryland electric vehicle rebate?

After reading more about greenhouse gases and global warming, I want to do my part by buying an electric vehicle. However, I want to see if my state has any electric car incentives or rebates. Does Maryland have an electric vehicle rebate?

Unfortunately,
Maryland
does not have an electric vehicle (EV) rebate—at least for individual buyers of electric vehicles. That doesn’t mean you should avoid an
EV
altogether, especially if you want to go green.
Maryland still offers a rebate for
electric vehicle charging stations
for your home. According to this rebate, you can receive up to a 40% rebate on the cost of installing a charging station up to a maximum of $700.
If you decide to purchase an electric vehicle to curb greenhouse gas emissions and provide for a better tomorrow, remember to budget for your car insurance. EVs are often expensive to insure, so take some time to download the
Jerry
app and compare quotes for your car insurance policy.
