I’m thinking about splurging for a luxury car, but I currently own an old Toyota Highlander so I’m worried about losing a lot of storage. What is the 2020 Lincoln MKZ’s cargo space? Will it fit much?

In terms of cargo storage, the
Lincoln MKZ
has about 15.4 cubic feet of cargo space in its trunk. While you will be losing the Highlander
’s spaciousness, this is only to be expected when downsizing. The good news: this is actually pretty sizeable for a midsize luxury car! While the MKZ’s narrow trunk opening has received complaints from consumers trying to maneuver large suitcases, it can fit about six carry-on suitcases nicely.
That said, if you opt for the
hybrid Lincoln MKZ
, the battery pack actually reduces the trunk’s cargo space to a measly 11 cubic feet. So if cargo volume is a big value for you in your search for the right luxury car, stick to the non-hybrid Lincoln MKZ.
