I’ve always been a sucker for upscale vehicles, but now that I have kids, I need to upgrade to an SUV. I need one with good gas mileage for all of the school dropoffs and pickups and commuter traffic. How’s the fuel economy of the Lexus RX 350?

The
Lexus RX 350
is a great luxury upgrade for driving your family around! The standard 2022 Lexus RX 350 front-wheel-drive model has a fuel efficiency of 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. The fuel economy varies depending on the model and trim, though. The hybrid powertrain, for instance, bumps the fuel economy to a combined 30 mpg. The Lexus RX comes in quite a few different body options and trims, which include the following:
- RX 350
- RX 450h (hybrid)
- RX 350L
- RX 350 F Sport
- RX 450hL (hybrid)
- RX 450h F Sport (hybrid)
- RX 350L Luxury
- RX 450hL Luxury (hybrid)
The hybrid models tend to get better gas mileage, but the base model front-wheel-drive RX 350 is the most fuel-efficient option in the lineup. It also takes regular unleaded gas, making it even more cost-efficient.
