Land Rover Discovery
is an excellent choice for your next luxury car. Even if you’re feeling apprehensive about power, you should feel comfortable with the Discovery’s towing capacity of up to 8,200 pounds.However, the 8,200-pound towing capacity will cost a bit more to achieve. If you want to maximize towing power, you need to upgrade to a:
- 3.0-liter inline V-6 with 359 horsepower and 366 pound-feet of torque
- The additional tow package
If you’re towing a trailer that’s not too heavy and you don’t want to spend too much, you can also go with the standard 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder that produces 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. With this setup, you still get a respectable 6,613 pounds of towing capacity, which should be enough to move your trailer with ease.
