What is the Kia Forte’s top trim level?

I’m looking to lease a new Kia, but I’ve never understood the difference between vehicle trims. What’s the Kia Forte’s top trim, and how does it differ from its other trim levels?

The 2023
Kia Forte
comes in five unique trim levels, starting with the base (FE) model, then the LX, LXS, GT-Line, and finally the GT. That’s right—the Forte’s top trim level is the GT, a performance-focused version of this compact vehicle that pulls out all the stops.
Compared to the Forte’s other trim levels, the GT is enhanced with a powerful 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a six-speed manual (dealer’s choice). It’s also upgraded with a sport-tuned suspension, sport exhaust, and performance tires. Throw in creature comforts like black-and-red stitched seats and a wireless charging pad, and the GT becomes a formidable iteration of Kia’s sportiest sedan.
GT buyers also have the option to purchase two optional packages that pack even more features into this compact car:
  • The GT Technology Package adds elevated tech features like navigation-based adaptive cruise control, an electronic parking brake, and a pedestrian/cyclist collision avoidance safety feature.
  • The GT2 Package brings all the same features as the technology package to the table, along with a sunroof, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear parking sensors, and a premium audio system.
