What is the curfew for teen drivers in Nevada?

My 17-year-old daughter just got her driver’s license. I’ve expressed concern about her taking the car out late at night, but she isn’t taking me seriously. Is there a curfew for teens in Nevada?

The curfew for teen drivers in
Nevada
is from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. This applies to drivers 18 and under.
The only exceptions to this rule are if you’re driving home from school or work.
Nevada state law requires
minor drivers
to first get a
provisional driver’s license
. This is a special class of license that comes with restrictive guidelines, such as:
  • No more than one passenger younger than 18 in the vehicle who is not a family member for the first six months
  • Zero-tolerance policy for
    driving under the influence
  • Everyone in the car must wear a
    seat belt
  • You can drive anytime if there is a parent, guardian, or licensed driver over 21 in the car, who has had their license for at least one year
While age-specific laws are designed to keep you safe on the road, so is
car insurance
