What is the curfew for teen drivers in Montana?

I know that driving at night in Montana is treacherous—I’ve hit a deer before. My son is about to get his license and I’m not exactly keen on him driving at night. Does Montana have a curfew for teen drivers?

Montana has some of the most dangerous roads in the entire country. Curves, wildlife, higher speed limits—it’s a recipe for disaster if you aren’t careful.
The state aims to keep roads safe by imposing certain restrictions—like a curfew for teen drivers. In
Montana
, curfew is from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the first year of driving. If 11 seems too late, you may want to implement your own curfew.
Other rules for young drivers include:
  • For the first 6 months: New drivers can only have one non-family-member passenger under 18 years old.
  • For the second 6 months: New drivers can have 3 passengers under 18.
Don’t forget to protect your teen with a great car insurance policy. But that doesn’t mean you need to overpay! The best place to start your search is with the
