What is the curfew for teen drivers in Kentucky?

I know that Kentucky is a dangerous place to drive at night, especially considering the amount of wildlife where we live. My son is about to get his driver’s license, so I need to discuss when he can drive. Does Kentucky have a curfew for teen drivers?

If you live in a place that has hordes of nocturnal wildlife, making sure your teen is back home before dark is a no-brainer. However, the curfew for teen drivers in
Kentucky
is midnight to 6 a.m. So, you may want to create a curfew of your own.
On top of the state’s curfew, Kentucky law specifies that teen drivers must have no more than one passenger in the vehicle until they are 17 years old. Once they’re 17, all restrictions are lifted and teens can enjoy a full-privilege driver’s license.
Kentucky has the highest number of fatal crashes among teens in the entire U.S., so imposing a curfew is certainly a smart idea. And if you want some added peace of mind, use the
