What is the curfew for teen drivers in Colorado?

After my daughter’s driving test this weekend, she’ll finally have her license. While I’m proud of her, I’m not exactly excited about her driving at night. Does Colorado have a curfew for teen drivers?

Driving at night is tough, but when you add in the traffic in a city like Denver, it’s definitely a cause for concern. Fortunately,
Colorado's teen driving laws
may help alleviate some concern—the curfew for teen drivers in
Colorado
is midnight to 5 a.m.
Young drivers in Colorado face other restrictions, as well, including:
  • No passengers for the first six months
  • No more than one passenger for the next six months
But once she turns 17 or has had her license for a year, these restrictions disappear. You’ll need to make your own curfew and rules as you see fit at that point.
