Costco
does not sell its own car insurance or offer a Costco military discount, you can get discounted rates for CONNECT powered by American Family Insurance. Unfortunately, there are no military discounts for policies purchased through the CONNECT program.The good news is that even without military discounts, Costco members can save up to 10% off the standard American Family rates. You may also be eligible for the following discounts:
- Good driver discount (California only*: for those who have good driving habits
- Premier safety discount: for those who have spotless driving records
- Defensive driver discount: for those who take an approved refresher driving course
- Vehicle safety features: for those with cars including ABS brakes, airbags, automatic seatbelts, or anti-theft devices
- Garaging discount: for those who park their cars in a garage overnight
- Good student discount: for full-time students who have good grades
- Student away discount: for those who have a student driver going to school 100+ miles away from home
- Multi-car discount: for those who insure more than one car with the CONNECT program
- Multi-product discount: for those who have more than one CONNECT insurance policy, such as auto and home
- Tenure discount: for those who have been with CONNECT for multiple years
