What is the Chrysler 200’s oil type?

I just bought a used Chrysler 200 and I want to save money by doing my own maintenance. However, I’ve never changed the oil on this particular model before. What oil type do I need for the Chrysler 200?

If you want to change the oil, your
Chrysler 200
requires the full synthetic type of SAE 5W-20 motor oil. However, you can also use 5W-30 if 5W-20 is unavailable at the time. Just make sure to switch back to 5W-20 on the subsequent oil change to keep your car at peak performance.
To complete the oil change, you’re going to need 4.5 quarts of motor oil, so buying a five-quart bottle is the most sensible and affordable choice. Just make sure to properly dispose of your old motor oil at a recycling center or repair shop to avoid contamination of the soil or groundwater.
If you want to save even more money on top of oil changes, a great place to start is with your car insurance. By downloading the
