I’m thinking of buying Tesla to save on gas but want to know if it’s worth the investment. What is the cheapest Tesla out there?

With gas prices on the rise—and no indication of if and when they’ll ever fall again—investing in an electric vehicle like a
Tesla
 could be a wise decision. However, if you don’t want to break the bank on gas, you probably don’t want to break the bank on a car.
The cheapest Tesla is the Tesla Model 3, which starts at $48,440. This compact sedan truly lives up to the hype. Its driving range is an impressive 272 miles per charge, meaning you’re unlikely to have to plug it in every single day.
The standard model comes in rear-wheel drive. However, you can upgrade to the Long Range model, which costs $55,940, or the Performance model, which starts at $63,440. Both will offer higher driving ranges, as well as additional power and performance.
