The UX is a crossover SUV that looks like a hatchback and includes premium features you’d expect from this luxury brand. Its interior is elegant, complete with upscale materials, dual-zone climate control, and power-adjustable front seats. A fully-loaded infotainment system includes a 10.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa compatibility, a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, and four USB ports.
It’s not a very fast car, but its 169-horsepower, four-cylinder engine can go from 0 to 60 mph in a comfortable 8.5 seconds. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can upgrade to all-wheel drive for an additional cost.
For safety, the UX comes equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, a driver-assistance technology suite that includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and more. An added perk is its best-in-class 17.1-foot turning radius that makes the UX a breeze to maneuver in tight spaces like city streets or parking garages.
