The E-Pace is a small crossover SUV with a body that’s sleek and stylish. The base 246-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine means that the E-Pace isn’t as fast as rivals like the
BMW
X2 or the Volvo
XC40—but Car and Driver considers it the most fun to drive out of the three, giving it a solid 7/10 rating.The E-Pace comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission and 20-inch wheels and gets decent gas mileage for its size at 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The base model doesn’t offer driver-assistance tech, but upgrades include adaptive cruise control, self-parking, forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, and more.
The cozy interior has leather seats, an elegant silver trim, a Meridian stereo, and an 11.4-inch touchscreen that includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
