BMW
warranty was updated in 2017. Instead of providing a comprehensive warranty in addition to a powertrain warranty, the two programs were combined into one bumper-to-bumper warranty, which includes powertrain coverage with all the other covered components.Here’s a rundown of the BMW warranty you’ll get with a new vehicle purchase:
- 4-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty: This includes comprehensive coverage and powertrain coverage.
- 3-year/36,000-mile complimentary service: Under the service program, you’ll receive complimentary routine maintenance services recommended by the manufacturer.
- 12-year/unlimited mileage corrosion warranty: BMW’s corrosion warranty will take care of any surface rust that pops up on your car for 12 years.
- 1-year alignment adjustment: If you need a minor alignment adjustment in the first year of ownership, it’s included with your new BMW.
