What is the best year for a used Honda Ridgeline?

I’m thinking of getting a used Honda Ridgeline. My grandpa used to drive one, so I have fond memories of the model, but I’m not sure what the best year is. What Honda Ridgeline should I buy?

Nostalgia’s a powerful thing! The best year for a used
Honda Ridgeline
is probably the 2011 model. If you want something a bit newer, the 2020 Ridgeline is a solid option!
Let’s look at the pros of buying a used 2011 Honda Ridgeline:
  • Five out of five rating for reliability
  • Comfortable and roomy cabin
  • Two-way tailgate
  • 250-hp 3.5L V6 engine
  • Standard all-wheel drive
  • “Good” safety score from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS)
If you want to go for something newer, the 2020 Ridgeline is another strong choice. With its new independent rear suspension, all-wheel-drive system, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, the 2020 model has a lot to offer. It was also rewarded the Top Safety Pick from the IIHS.
However, you’ll want to avoid the 2018 model, as many of the tech features are more trouble than they’re worth.
