What is the best year for a used Dodge Grand Caravan?

My wife would like a used Dodge Grand Caravan and I’m wondering if there’s a preferred model year we should be shopping for—or, perhaps more importantly—if there are any years we should absolutely avoid. What years should we be aware of?

We have some great news: if you’re shopping for a used
Dodge Caravan
, you’ve got quite a few options! According to customer reviews, some of the best model years include 2007, 2010, 2019, and 2020.
The 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan is one of the most reliable Caravans around. Even though this is an older model, there are a lot of great features to make up for it! Plus, you can find it at an affordable price, usually around a few thousand dollars used.
If you’re looking for something a bit newer, the 2010 is a great option. If you plan to buy this model year, it is highly recommended to go for the
Dodge Grand Caravan SXT
. This trim comes with a powerful four-liter V6 engine, giving it an exciting driving verve!
You can also opt for the 2019 model which comes with unique second-row seats that can fold down into a compartment, giving you more space for cargo!
Finally, the 2020 is the newest—and most luxurious—used option on the list. When it comes to buying this year used, you should go for the GT or the Premium Plus trims as they are more powerful and efficient.
As for the worst model years, you should definitely avoid used Dodge Grand Caravans made between 2002 and 2006.
