What is the best year for a used Chevy Colorado?

I need to replace my truck, but I don’t want to pay new-truck prices. I’m thinking of getting a used Chevy Colorado, but I’m not sure which year to buy. What is the best year for a used Chevy Colorado?

Not wanting to pay new-car prices is completely fair! You can save a lot of money buying a used vehicle without compromising on the features you’re looking for. Ratings for the
Chevy Colorado
are all over the place, but the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado stands out as the best option.
The 2020 Colorado has one of the best reliability rankings in Chevy Colorado history, with a score of 81 out of 100 from J.D. Power. It also received top reliability scores for typical trouble areas (i.e., the transmission, drive system, and engine) and good safety ratings. You’ll also get an impressive towing capacity of around 7,000 pounds.
While the 2020 Colorado may be a stand-out option, the same cannot be said of the 2021 model, which received very poor reliability ratings and owner satisfaction scores.
