We just got married and need to save as much money as possible. Are there any tips or tricks to getting a cheaper auto insurance policy?

“No policies are geared specifically towards newlyweds, but these money-saving tips should get your financial affairs in order!
If you haven’t done so yet, get a quote for
cheaper car insurance
 that combines both you and your spouse on one policy. Most insurance companies use credit as a rating factor but some only use the credit from the first-named insured. Whichever one of you has the best credit, have that name as the first name listed on the policy.
Also, make sure you are taking advantage of the following savings if they apply:
  • Married discount
  • Multi-car discount
  • Telematics discount
  • Low mileage discount
  • Multi-line discount
